Memoir of a Findlay Girl by Elizabeth Atchison

I have written this book out of love and respect for my mother, Georgina Chisholm Atchison nèe Hay and my community of Findlay. Both have moulded who I am. Just as many of you reading this have been shaped by your parents and our humble community. It is my belief that the lives and events of Findlay are too precious to let slip unnoticed into history. Canada as we now know it was formed by many hundreds of such modest rural villages and thousands of brave and quiet pioneers who simply lived their lives the best way they knew. Elizabeth Atchison
