ELECTRONIC MANUSCRIPT OR IMAGE

Alterations represent corrections made to the Customer’s originally supplied file at any stage of the design process. A certain number of changes are included in base price of text layouts. Any changes in excess of these are billable. Text or cover files which need to be accessed in addition to proofs included in base price are subject to a $15/occasion access fee, and any work to be done in addition may be billable at $40/hour. First proofs will generally be submitted to Customer within 7-10 days of receipt of material, or earlier if arrangements have been separately agreed upon. Timely review of proofs are the responsibility of the Customer. Revised proofs based on any alterations requested by Customer will typically be submitted to Customer within 1 week.
Payment terms shall be whatever was set forth in the quotation or invoice unless otherwise provided in writing. If payment is not made, the Customer is liable for all collection costs incurred by SpicaBookDesign. Claims must be made by the Customer in writing within a period of fifteen (15) days after delivery of all or any part of the order. Failure to make such claim within the stated period shall constitute irrevocable acceptance and an admission that the order fully complies with terms, conditions, and specifications.
Our customers pay for book design services by cheque, cash or VISA using the link on SpicaBookDesign invoice. Once you approve the final draft, the completed book design files will be sent to you or the printer as a high resolution print-ready PD F file. All prices are given without GST/HST.
