Out of a photographic career spanning 50 years, these images I shot over a period of eight days in 1969 have turned out to be my legacy to the world. None of us could know then that the song we recorded on the primitive equipment in that hotel room Give Peace a Chance, would eventually become the first truly global peace anthem known and sung in every land in every language.
